Text recorded with this division

Maria Kovacic

At the request of Senator Hume, I move:

That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Home Affairs, by no later than 9 am on Thursday, 17 September 2026, a copy of any response provided by the Australian Federal Police to the letter sent by the General Manager of the Fair Work Commission on 21 May 2026.

Sue Lines

The question is that general business notice of motion No. 717 standing in the name of Senator Hume be agreed to.

This is the question as put in the chamber, with the name of the member who spoke before the vote. It isn't a summary of the bill or motion.
