Maria Kovacic

At the request of Senator Sharma, I move:

That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Prime Minister, by no later than 5 pm on 23 October 2026, all documents held by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet relating to the recruitment of Ms Anthea Harris to the roles of Deputy Secretary, Economy, Industry and Resources Group and Fuel Supply Coordinator, including but not limited to:

(a) all emails, letters, text messages, instant messages, minutes, briefings and submissions relating to the hiring process and appointment of Ms Harris to the roles;

(b) recruitment shortlists, job interview lists, role descriptions and job advertisements; and

(c) all emails, letters, text messages, instant messages, minutes, briefings and submissions relating to the decision to make the Fuel Supply Coordinator position a substantive Senior Executive Service Band 3 role.

Sue Lines

The question is that general business notice of motion No. 766, standing in the name of Senator Sharma and moved by Senator Kovacic, be agreed to.

This is the question as put in the chamber, with the name of the member who spoke before the vote. It isn't a summary of the bill or motion.
