Varun Ghosh

We now turn to a deferred vote from yesterday evening. I remind senators that, yesterday evening after 6.30 pm, a division was called on the urgency motion moved by Senator McGrath relating to the taxation of trusts. I understand it suits the convenience of the Senate for the deferred vote to be held now. The question is that the motion moved by Senator McGrath yesterday evening at 6:30 pm be agreed to.

This is the question as put in the chamber, with the name of the member who spoke before the vote. It isn't a summary of the bill or motion.
